The electronic version of Reel Talk for September 2008 is now available.
The September 26th General Meeting will feature the annual presentation by the Sony Store, hosted by Paul Little of their West Broadway outlet. Paul will discuss the latest in camcorders, DVR's, BluRay, and Hi Def.
The Vancouver Video Production Club is based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The club was established in 1952 and currently has about 45 members.
The Vancouver Video Production Club is open to anyone interested in videos, both amateur and professional. This club gives an opportunity for individuals to show their videos, improve their techniques, and discuss videos. The club includes contests, guest speakers, assigned subjects and more.
Every month, the video club has both a General Meeting and a Workshop. No meetings or workshops are held in July and August. General Meetings include guest speakers, contests, and an opportunity to show your own video. They are held every 4th Friday of the month starting at 8:00 PM.
So come on down, socialize, talk about videos, and have fun!
The Workshop gives you an opportunity to refine your video techniques by working on a group project with others. Members take on various tasks such as directing, shooting and editing in a collective and informal atmosphere. Workshops are held at least once a month and the day is subject to change.
